Location was excellent. The rooms were clean and a decent size for one person. There are restaurants in the vicinity. You can walk to the old town. The view is amazing. Very quiet rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. I'd definitely return.

Friendly staff, great location for restaurants, bars, train but still quiet in room with view of river. borrowed bicycle free of charge from hotel and had lovely trip downriver after work with meal at 1881 cafe. Architecture of hotel building also interesting. WiFi v good.

- Very kind staff - Renovated facilities - Free hot and fresh drinks available for the guests - They help out in advising where to order / eat in covid restriction time by handing out a short-list/guide of best places

Excellent location with fascinating view on River Aare and old Part of the town. Very friendly. Bike and children friendly.

The best part of town with bars and restaurants (all with takeaways during Covid) is just across the river. Free fruit, coffee, tea and beer in the lobby.
